Hi, Richard--

Just wanted to let you know how very much I enjoy each and every Refuge service I attend. I've been a member of Catalina since my birth (in 1961!), and my mother (Mary Louise McCleneghan) was a lifetime member of CUMC, the choir, and the Homebuilders class-- a wonderful woman and an inspiration to many at the church (& beyond!), all the way up until her death in Feb. of 2002. As an adult, I'd somewhat "fallen by the wayside"... UNTIL, that is, thanks in large part to my special friendship with Refuge attendee Helen Perkins, I began attending Reguge services, last fall. Since then, I feel that I have changed SO much and become a sincerely changed individual, in ways too numerous to count or go into here, I suppose. Suffice it to say that I now feel an urge to go to church regularly and thoroughly enjoy worshipping for the very first time in my life!:-) Also, I should mention that a HUGE part of this newfound wonder and quality in my life has been supplied by the wonderful music ministry of the Cornerstone band; they are SUPERB!! Thanks again for helping bring me back to the Lord.
